Fundraising Luncheon of the Pro Arte League

The Pro Arte League of the Kosciuszko Foundation,and Mrs. Christine Kuskowski, Honorary Chairman, cordially invite you to their Cabaret, the 36th Anniversary Fundraising Luncheon, on Sunday, October 22. at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands beginning at 12 noon. Enjoy a musical program featuring mezzo-soprano Monika Krajewska and ballroom dancing by Joseph's School of Dance. At home in opera as well as in concert and cabaret, Monika Krajewska has appeared with companies throughout the US and Poland. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in Mozart's Requiem and her European debut at Holland's Belcanto Festival. She was a winner in the Kosciuszko Foundation's Marcella Sembrich Vocal Scholarship Competition, and was also awarded the Irena Spelluto Bonczak Scholarship for opera studies. Prior to coming to the United States, Ms. Krajewska studied both acting and singing at the Paderewski Academy in Poznan.

The Pro Arte League of the Kosciuszko Foundation is celebrating its 36th anniversary with this festive Cabaret, for which Mrs. Bozena Blacha is Event Chairman. The League was organized in 1970 by a group of women Foundation members to help beautify and preserve the public rooms of the Foundation House. This active group has continued to schedule fundraising events to promote its mission. The Pro Arte League and its President, Mrs. Eugenia Gore, welcome any female Foundation member interested in joining their volunteer efforts to one of their meetings at the Foundation House.
