Awards Day 2006

Please join us as we celebrate 60 years in our beautiful Foundation House. It was on October 17, 1946, that Dr. Henry Noble McCracken, KF President, welcomed hundreds of guests and formally opened the Foundation House for our use. Stephen Mizwa, Secretary and Executive Director, finally saw his vision become a physical reality; “The Kosciuszko Foundation House will serve as a watchtower, from which we can get a glimpse of the people of Poland.” Dignitaries representing many Polish and Polish-American organizations honored us, and an afternoon of music and sociability was shared. Fundraising Luncheon of the Pro Arte League,Sunday, October 22- Crowne Plaza Meadowland
The Pro Arte League of the Kosciuszko Foundation, and Mrs. Christine Kuskowski, Honorary Chairman, cordially invite you to their Cabaret, the 36th Anniversary Fundraising Luncheon, on Sunday, October 22. at the Crowne Plaza Meadowlands beginning at 12 noon. Enjoy a musical program featuring mezzo-soprano Monika Krajewska and ballroom dancing by Joseph's School of Dance. Ariadne Trio in Concert
Sunday, October 29
The Ariadne Trio will give a concert of Polish / Slavic music on Sunday, October 29, at 3 PM at the Kosciuszko Foundation. The Trio is made up of Basia Danilow, Violin; Peter Sanders, Cello; and Albert Stanziano, Piano; and will be performing works of Beethoven, Szymanowski, Chopin, and Smetana. Tickets are $20 and can be reserved by calling the Foundation Office at 212.734-2130.
