New York State Baroque Orchestra
Chamber Music Series
Music of the Polish, Italian and German Baroque
Sunday, December 18 at 3 PM, Tickets $25.

NYS Baroque seeks to infuse new life into the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, to illuminate its significance and passion. They delight and educate with their fresh and often startling interpretations of well-known masters, and introduce lesser-known musical treasures as well, with authentic period instruments and techniques. In their Chamber Music Series debut, they will introduce Polish masters Podbielski, Mielczewski, and Jarzebski alongside their Italian and German contemporaries, elegant music of the Polish aristocracy before the Swedish invasion ended much court activity.
