The Philadelphia Chapter
of the Kosciuszko Foundation invites you to celebrate The
Year of Szymanowski at our 3rd Annual Summer Concert !
To honor the "spritual father of 20th century Polish music",
the Polish Sejm has proclaimed 2007 the Year of Karol Szymanowski, commemorating
the 125th year since the birth of this musical giant.
This summer, join us for a jubilee program of Szymanowski's
work performed by noted virtuosi and Szymanowski scholars, Blanka
Bednarz, violinist and Matthew Bengtson, pianist.

Kimberly Kong - Award winner of the 2007 Kosciuszko
Chopin Piano Competition.
Kimberley Kong made her debut with the Pittsburgh
Symphony at the age of nine. She appeared with the National Symphony
at Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and in recitals at Weill / Carnegie
Music Hall in New York City and at Heinz Hall in
Pittsburgh.
