The KF Program Alumni Listserv is up and running!

Listserv is a wonderful tool to share information via e-mail among a select group of people, and we are pleased to provide a listserv exclusively for program and scholarship alumni of the Kosciuszko Foundation. Here members can hold open discussions on common topics of interest and help us to set up activities, as have been requested from a number of alumni. The KF Program Alumni Listserv is available free of charge to all Foundation members who are past or present grant, scholarship or fellowship recipients, year abroad, summer program and exchange participants or Teaching English in Poland Program volunteers.

We hope the listserv will greatly increase communication among alumni who may have common interests, to refresh old friendships, make new contacts, and learn about – and comment on – current programs of the Foundation. Individuals who receive an e-mail from a listserv can reply just once, and their response will be viewed by all of the members of the listserv, so it creates an open forum among those who choose to converse, while the conversation is observed by all subscribers. If members of the group want to send individual private messages not meant for the whole group, they can do so as well. To satisfy privacy concerns, the information shared in these discussions remains private to the subscribed group only, as administered by the Foundation Development Office.

As a convenience feature, all participants in the listserv will be provided with links to unsubscribe or change their status in every e-mail they receive coming from the listserv. These options will be available every time participants receive an e-mail from the listserv.

We hope many alumni will use and enjoy our listserv for networking and information sharing. We trust, too, that it will strengthen our programs for alumni and keep them in the Foundation family.
